OneDrive is already installed as a preinstalled application on Windows 10. Microsoft has integrated the OneDrive Store edition into Windows 10 for ease of use. Uninstall OneDrive from Windows Settings
Open Windows settings on Windows 10 machine. You can press Win + I.
Go to Applications > Applications & Functions.
Discover Microsoft OneDrive on your right and double-click the Uninstall button to confirm.
That’s it! It will take a few moments to complete the uninstallation.
Uninstall OneDrive with Windows PowerShell
You can open Windows PowerShell with administrative rights and run this command :
Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers
Discover now the PackageFullName of Microsoft OneDrive (in Windows PowerShell you can find it under the name of Microsoft SkyDrive). Therefore, enter this command:
remove-AppxPackage PackageFullName
Replace the PackageFullName with the original Microsoft OneDrive package name you copied from Windows PowerShell.
After uninstalling, you can download the OneDrive application here and use the executable without any problem. If you don’t want the executable and want a simpler option, you can also open Microsoft Store and download OneDrive from there.
