Last year Microsoft brought us the Windows 8.1 update of their first touch operating system and this update. 1 First you can find the App Alarms by searching it in Windows. Press Windows + Q and enter Alarm. The result should lead you to the alarms. The application Alarms opens on the blank screen, where you click the Add (+) button. Here you have the possibility to add a new alarm. You can also add details such as the alarm name, time, repeat time and notification tone from the Glockenspiel Glockenspiel drop-down menu.

2 The second section is Timer. The preset countdown time for the timer is 15 minutes. You can start or stop it with the central switch and the cursor. You can also change the countdown time. Use the reset button to reset the timer (16).
3 You can use the stopwatch to divide the time into laps. Just like digital watches where we can count rounds, the modern application allows you to easily count rounds.
Your alarm does not sound when your PC turns off, but it may turn off when your speakers are muted. You can also trigger it when your PC is asleep by setting it to do so. Open Charms > Settings > Permissions and set the Notifications and Locks screen to On.
