Pins and folders from the control panel to the Windows Start menu with PinToStartMenu

We are happy to publish PinToStartMenu. With PinToStartMenu, you can pin items and folders from the Control Panel to the Windows Start menu via the context menu.

There are three different ways to add folders to the start menu and/or even’Pin to start menu item’ to the context menu of Windows folders. To add Control Panel items to the Start menu, create the shortcut on your desktop, then drag and drop it into the Start (orb) button.

ExifTool: Reading, writing, editing meta-information

I was looking for a good EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) tool to see the complete meta-information for jpeg images after a long search, I found this nice little application ExifTool a bead-based command line application that gives us tons of information about meta that many tools don’t have.

ExifTool is a platform independent Perl library and command line application for reading, writing and editing meta-information in a variety of files. It is very easy to use: just drag the file to the exiftool(-k).exe file, which opens at the command prompt with all the meta information. Or you can rename the exe to pl and use it as a command line application. read more
