Encrypt USB keys with BitLocker To Go on Windows 7
Microsoft has extended the BitLocker functionality under Windows 7. BitLocker To Go extends BitLocker data protection to USB storage devices so that they can be restricted by a passphrase.
In addition to controlling the length and complexity of the passphrase, IT administrators can define a policy that requires users to apply BitLocker protection to removable devices before they can write to them. BitLocker To Go also allows users to securely exchange data with users who have not yet installed Windows 7.
