Note that this tutorial is for advanced users only. Here are the steps you can take to modify your executable or resource file to suit your needs. But before you start, first create a system restore point:

1 First, you must install resource hackers on your 32-bit Windows operating system. If you don’t have it, you can get it here for free

2 After installing it, right-click on the file you want to modify and select Open with Resource Hacker .

3. A window opens in which contents such as the icon, string table, RCD data, icon group, version information, etc. of the file to be modified are displayed.

(4) You can now change what you want (excluding actual executable content). For example, suppose you want to change the icon of your executable or resource file . To do this, expand the Icon tab and expand until you see the icon on the right side of the Resource Hacker window.

5. select this icon file and click the tab Action. Here you can see the different actions you can perform with the selected file.

6. click Replace icon . A new window will open. Navigate to the location of the.ico file (icon), select this file and click

8. you have successfully replaced your.exe file icon. Save the file to the desired location

Be very careful when changing the contents of an executable or resource file, as both contain important information. If something is wrong, run System Restore or System File Checker to recover the system files.
