Google technology records every search you perform. So, if you think you’re looking for something that was repugnant or offensive in the past and you want to remove it completely from the public, read this article. It allows you to completely clear your search history via Google Web and App Activity Page.
Google now allows you to download an archived list of everything you’ve searched for in the past and provides a convenient way to delete records. The downloadable archive contains all the terms and keywords you have googled since the beginning of time.
The list does not end with Google’s search engine function. It also includes search documentation for email accounts and user addresses that may have been entered into Google Maps.
Clear the search history in Google
Here’s how! Sign in to your Google Account and visit Google’s web and application activity page.
Then click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page and select Download. Click Create Archive.
You will then receive a message that your personal archives are ready to be downloaded and Google will send you an email. You can then view the archive in the takeaway folder of your Google player or download the ZIP file.
This will allow you to delete your Google history:
Sign in to your Google Account > View your web and application activity
Click the gear icon and select Remove items.
Select the period for which you want to delete items and click the Delete button.
Google also offers the ability to delete individual search terms, recent searches and mobile or tablet searches.
