We have already seen the difference between SQL and NoSQL. Now in this article I will explain the fundamental difference between SQL and MySQL. Most people find it difficult to deal with SQL and MySQL, and you could be one of them. There are books on SQL everywhere, and for good reason! Reading these books helped me to distinguish the two concepts SQL and MySQL.
Let us first explain the two technologies and how they are defined :
SQL vs MySQL
SQL means Sstructured Query La language. It is a standard language for accessing and manipulating databases. MySQL is a database management system, such as SQL Server, Oracle, Informix, Postgres, etc.. MySQL is a relational database management system (RDMS).
Considering a data management utility, the two most popular options are MySQL and SQL Server. Both are effective at organizing your data and keeping it easily accessible via a user interface. Both technologies have the schema concept (i.e. table storage) for data storage.

The SQL server belongs to Microsoft and is commonly referred to as Microsoft SQL Server. It has a long version history, and is often updated with the latest trends and technologies, making it one of today’s most reliable database applications.

MySQL does not have such a tool to do this.

SQL Server and MySQL are supported for free by their respective providers. MySQL, as we know, is now a subsidiary of Oracle, which has a C-Appability Maturity Model (CMM CMM). Level 5 and provides technical support through technical representatives and the virtual MySQL DBA wizard.
On the other hand, Microsoft has been the pioneer of cloud storage and SQL databases over the years. A free Microsoft SQL Server Migration Wizard (SSMA) also facilitates data migration from Oracle, Microsoft Access, MySQL and Sybase to SQL Server.

As we saw the difference between SQL Server and MySQL, the picture is now almost clear. It depends on your needs in terms of security, scalability and efficiency of the database you want. From most points it is clear that Microsoft SQL Server offers some additional features on MySQL and is more reliable in the development market.
