Disable the email application from automatic login when you connect to Windows 8

Have you noticed that applications such as Messaging, Mail, People, Calendar, etc. automatically connect when you connect to Windows 8 with your Microsoft account? This is for your convenience, so you don’t need to connect to each application individually.

Disable the automatic connection of the email application under Windows 8

Many find it useful, but some do not want the email application to connect automatically. To disable the automatic signature of the email application, open it and press Win+I to open settings .

Click Option.

You will see an option to disable or enable all messaging services, i.e. send or receive messages. Move the cursor from On to Off.

That’s it!

The email application no longer connects automatically when you connect to Windows 8 with your Microsoft account.

You must now open the application manually and connect to the email application if you wish.
