Until I discovered Dabel File Mover, I had never found any software that would allow me to copy or move files from multiple source folders to different destination folders. Of course, there were tons of software to copy batch files, but none of them had the above capabilities.
File Mover Freeware for Windows
Dabel File Mover does ! The free software allows you to transfer files from one place to another on your computer. You can even transfer multiple directories at once!
Dabel File Mover does not require installation. Once the download is complete, simply double-click on the configuration to launch the program. The user interface of the program looks very simple, without complicated menus – although the yellow on the eyes looks bright. The main window shows the bulk file mover, which contains several source folders and corresponding destination folders for the files to be moved.
Directly above the Bulk File Mover, you will see a Standard File Mover, which allows the selection and transfer of a single folder to the destination.
For the tests, I used the standard File Remover. I clicked on the’Browse’ button to find the folder I was looking for. When I was found, I clicked ‘OK’.
Then I selected the destination folder and pressed the’File Mover’ button.
When the folder was moved to the desired location, I received a confirmation message on my computer screen, as shown in the figure below.
You can try the same thing, but in bulk, the action will be different, i.e. you will be able to move files to respected places in the mass. The fields in the Bulk File Mover boxes have a dark black background, so it can be difficult to read the paths to the selected directories.
Overall, Dabel File Mover works very well, does what it claims! I had no problem using it, directly from the download point to move the files to the destination folders. If you want to try Dabel File Mover.
