- You won’t need it during the upgrade process, but it would be a good idea to find and download your Windows product key somewhere.
- Make sure you have a proper Internet connection
- Sufficient space on your storage device or hard disk
- A blank USB or DVD with at least 4 GB of storage space
- Check if your computer has a 32-bit or 64-bit processor
- You meet the minimum system requirements
- Check the language currently used and download the ISO file for the same language
- Confirm the Windows edition you are currently using and download the same edition. The system displays the selection in the drop-down menu. Currently available editions are Windows 10, Windows 10 N and Windows 10 Single Language.
Volume license customers, TechNet and MSDN subscribers, academics and Windows insiders can click on the link More download options to visit the appropriate links.
Once you have taken care of these details, visit Microsoft.com and click the blue button Confirm to download ISO Windows 10.
You will be prompted to select the edition, language, 32-bit or 64-bit before the download starts. The download links you create are valid for 24 hours from the time they are created.
Business customers can download the trial version of Windows 10 Enterprise free of charge.
