So you tried to solve the problem with Adobe Media Encoder Fail and received the following message: “Adobe Media Encoder no longer works”. At first, it worked well, but then my Adobe Media Encoder didn’t load and doesn’t work anymore. All unexpected, suddenly………… today, it doesn’t work very well anymore. He decided that for some reason, he didn’t want to start…. I first saw the home screen, but it disappears when loading and could not start the AME.
Resetting cc media files
Go to where the Adobe Media Encoder executable files are installed [C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder CC 20xx].
Now hold down Ctrl+Shift+Alt and start the program. This will delete and reset the damaged cc media settings files and all settings for AME to work again.
Installing Adobe Media Encoder
The error message you receive is authentic if you have not installed Adobe Media Encoder on your computer. Some applications have required the presence of the encoder in your computer to ensure full functionality. In this solution, we will browse the official Adobe systems website and install the application after downloading it.
Go to the official Adobe Media Encoder website and download the executable in an accessible place.
You can also download the application directly from Adobe Creative Cloud. You can search for products and install them.
Right-click on the executable and select Run as administrator. After installation, restart your computer and check that the error message is corrected.
Resetting the flash memory
On some occasions, users have found that resetting their computer’s flash memory corrects the output module error. This is a rather improbable cause, but valuable if you have no other options. On a Mac, it’s as simple as holding “CTRL+CMD+P+R” during startup. For PC users, the process depends on the brand of the motherboard. In most cases, you can do this in the motherboard BIOS settings, which you can access by clicking the button in the BIOS Access Prompt (usually the first thing that appears on the screen at startup).
Uninstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop suite
The Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application is essential for Creative Cloud features such as installation, synchronization, font synchronization, libraries and much more. Adobe strongly recommends that you do not uninstall this application.
However, in some scenarios, such as a damaged Creative Cloud desktop application or installation problems with some Creative Cloud applications, you can uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop application.
- Download the ZIP file using the uninstaller executable.
- Download the Creative Cloud Uninstaller.zip file
- Extract Creative Cloud Uninstaller.zip.
- Run the Creative Cloud Uninstaller.exe executable installation file.
The installer will ask you to confirm that you want to uninstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application. Check the message and click on Uninstall.
The uninstaller will delete the application from your computer and display a confirmation message. Click on Close.
