You cannot use a shared network printer to print under Windows 7

If you have configured a client computer running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 to use a shared network printer for printing, and if you notice that the print job occasionally fails, you should apply this Microsoft patch.

If this problem occurs, you will not receive an error message on the client computer. And the print job is not printed on the physical printer.

To restore the print functionality on the client computer, you can restart the print spooler service from the services.

To solve this problem, you can visit KB2388142 and request a fix. Apply this patch only to systems where the above problem occurs.

If you are not seriously affected by this issue, please wait for the Microsoft update.
