  • Rename the installation folder of Destiny 2 to its original name.
  • Start the installation.

Now you need to be patient, because Battle.net needs to check the installed files and the panel can be displayed during the initialization without moving, but something happens. This won’t take long and the problem will be solved and the update will be installed after the check is complete.

Rename the folder Destiny 2

  • Stop the initialization process and close Battle.net.
  • Browse to the Destiny 2 folder. Usually it is in C: \ Program Files (x86) . Then rename the folder Destiny 2.
