Due to its ubiquity on Android devices, many users choose Google Drive over many cloud computing solutions. And it’s a good choice when you consider it good for material design and does exactly what an occasional user needs.
It is possible that Google may have problems with its service. If your Google Drive or Google Docs services are now problematic, you may be affected.
One of the main reasons that can occur is that there is a problem with your browser or caching that prevents access to the file. Otherwise, if you have multiple Google accounts logging in and controlling things, chances are you’ll get this error because most users have had this problem. Another reason that may occur is that you are not logged into your account, or if for any reason you get this problem, you are good to log out and log in to your account to check if it works. Try the following troubleshooting steps to see if the problem can be solved:
- Try an incognito or a private window.
- Disable plug-ins or browser extensions. (instructions Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari.)
- Reset your Chrome settings.
- Run the Chrome Cleanup tool to remove software that can cause problems with Chrome.
- Try replicating your problem on another network to see if it is a network problem.
- Ask a domain or network administrator to help you configure your firewall and/or server.
- Open Chrome on your computer.
- Click on Other Settings in the upper right corner.
- Click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Under Privacy and Security, click on Content Settings.
- Click on Cookies.
- Under All Cookies and Page Data, search for the name of the website.
- Click on Delete on the right of the website.
Log out and log in with your Google Account.
Another viable step when Google Drive blocks your downloads is to log out and reconnect with your Google Account. There are a whole bunch of access control incidents. Especially if you have copied the Google Player file associated with another Google Account. Or you downloaded the file from another platform, such as Android or iOS.
For this and other similar reasons, this simple sequence can help you solve the problem. Here’s how to do it in any browser:
- Open your browser and access Google.com.
- Click on the image of your profile and log out.
- Restart your browser and log in again.
