If you use the Mantle drivers on AMD and crash in the X64 version, go to C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\Battlefield 4\Settings and delete the “PROFSAVE_profile” file (or you can simply move it to another location on your PC for storage), which will also reset the keyboard shortcuts and graphic settings to the game time, in order to run them again.

Update your graphics card drivers

Update-Drivers

  1. First, start your computer in safe mode.
  2. Then press the Win + R buttons to start Run.
  3. Type devmgmt.msc in the field and press Enter or click OK to open the Device Manager.
  4. A list of device drivers is then displayed. From there, search for the display adapters and click on them.
  5. Then right-click on each item under the display adapters and select the Uninstall Device option from the menu.
  6. Now restart your computer.
  7. After restarting your computer, go to the Settings application and check for updates in the Windows Update section.

Remove the ADM Radeon HD2000 and HD4000 drivers

Not a perfect solution, but if you remove these AMD drivers, the operating system will use the default graphics processor available on your motherboard. You can also disable the hardware completely.

  • Open the device manager ( WIN + X + M)
  • Find your video driver under Display Adapter > Right Click > Uninstall Device or Disable Device.
  • Restart your computer.

Windows cannot find the ADM Radeon HD2000 and HD4000 device and publish the Windows 10 v1809 update on your computer. If the operating system tries to invite you with the message “New device found”, simply ignore this message.

Physically remove the video card.

The ADM Radeon HD2000 and HD4000 are both very old graphics cards. AMD will not release anything, at least not by itself, if your motherboard has an embedded graphics processor, it is better to remove the cards. Then install and reinstall the v1809 update. You can even install the driver, but not use the Edge Browser browser.

Switch to another browser

You must first install the other browser on your system. Then click the Windows 10 Start button, then click the Settings icon on the left side of the screen. You can also type “Settings” in the search box and click on the Settings result at the top of the screen.

On the Application Settings screen, select Apps. The Apps & Features screen appears. Scroll down to the “Change Application Standards” section and click on “Open Application Default Settings”. The Standard Applications screen appears. It displays standard applications for email, maps, music and video playback, photo display, etc. To change the default browser, you must scroll down.
