Checking the Internet Connection

Again, if the Windows Update components do not work properly or are damaged, it may cause Windows Update installation to fail or be impossible. In this case, resetting Windows Update components requires you to download and install new update files from the Microsoft server and resolve the problem.
- On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and the R key.
- Enter services.msc and click ok,
- This opens the Windows Services console
- Scroll down and find the Windows Update Service,
- Refresh window by right-clicking Select service stop
- Now open Windows Explorer with the Windows + E key combination,
- Navigate under the path C:\Windows\Software Sales\Download
- Then delete all files in the download folder (do not delete the folder itself).
