11. Disable the Use cached exchange mode option.

15. Click the Disable Offline Use button.
16. Click Yes to confirm.
17. Then select the Offline folder file setup option and click OK.
18. In the dialog box that appears, select Yes.
19. Select the Use Cached Exchange Mode option, click OK and Next, and click Finish.

Compressing the PST size

1. In Outlook, click File and About.
2. Click on Account Settings to open the settings window.
3. Then click on the Data Files tab.
4. Select the PST file to compress.
5. Click the Settings button.
6. In the Outlook Data File window, click the Compact Now button.
