The recent publication of the Call to Duty (Modern Warfare) is surrounded by much controversy. The game was riddled with bugs and problems upon its release, some of which continue to wreak havoc on the PC gamer base months after the release. One of the most common problems of this type is deviation error 6328, which usually occurs when the player tries to start the game or while waiting in the multiplayer lobby.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare is a reboot that should revolutionize the COD franchise. With a completely redesigned game engine, COD Modern Warfare offers some of the best visuals of this generation. However, the PC version of the game is riddled with bugs and problems such as development errors, 100% CPU usage, etc. The PC version of the game is also full of bugs and problems. Below is a list of errors and problems encountered by players, as well as bug fixes and workarounds.
Turn Down Game Settings
Few people reported that their game no longer produces random errors after the parameters have been rejected. Also try limiting your SPF to 60 until Activision releases a patch. There are several things you can try
- Capping the FPS at 60
- Rotate textures from top to bottom
You have to disable crossplay in the game settings.
- Open the Options menu in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
- Go to the “Account” tab.
- Set the crossplay to “disabled”.
Scanning with the desktop app of Battle.net
- Run the Battle.net desktop application.
- Click the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” icon.
- Click on the options
- Then click the “Scan and Repair” button.
- Click on “Start Scan”.
Rebooting the router and the computer
Although this is only a temporary solution, it has worked for many users that we really want to play.
Before starting troubleshooting with any of the other fixes listed below, simply restart the PC in conjunction with a restart of the router. If the problem is caused by a network inconsistency, this process will clear the DNS and delete any temporary data that may be causing the problem.
To perform a router restart + power cycle, press the power switch on the rear panel once (to turn it off) and wait 30 seconds or more before pressing the switch again to turn it back on. Alternatively, you can simply unplug the power cord from your wall outlet.
After rebooting your router/modem and PC, restart the game and see if the problem is now solved.
