Try to print after turning off secure mode
Try to print the web page after turning off Protected Mode. To do this, follow these steps:
a. In Internet Explorer, click the Tools icon
b. Click the Security tab and uncheck the box next to Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer).
c. Click Apply and then OK.
d. Close all open Internet Explorer windows and restart Internet Explorer.
e. Go to the website and test the page to print when run as administrator.
Run the troubleshooter
You can resolve the “Printer requires your attention” error by running the built-in troubleshooter. Here’s how it’s done:
Step 1. Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings app. Then go to the Update & Security section.
Step 2. Select “Troubleshoot” from the menu, then “Printers” and click the “Troubleshoot” button.
Step 3. Follow the instructions on the screen to troubleshoot.
After completing troubleshooting, check if the problem is still there. Otherwise, try the next method.
Install the latest updates
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to the Update & Security section.
- Click Check for Updates.
- Reboot your computer.
Restart the print spooler service
- Press Windows Key + R.
- Enter services.msc. and click OK.
- Find the Print Spooler service.
- Select Restart from the menu.
