Many bloggers, professionals and websites tend to add watermarks to their photos for copyright reasons, but sometimes they have not saved the original copy of the image, so what do they have to do if they want to recover the original image without watermarks? Usually, the original software used to create the watermark may not have the features to remove it, but that’s fine, as there are several free options to remove watermarks from images without ever having to hire a professional.
What we are going to do is talk about some of these watermarking removal software and then decide what is worth your precious little time.
Free watermark removal software
For those who prefer open source projects, GIMP is probably one of the best image editing tools. This is quite powerful, and users can do many things that are usually done in Photoshop, but it is more difficult and requires a lot of reading.
It is also ideal to remove watermarks from photos and even to repair the change in viewing angle through the lens. If there are other impurities on your photo, GIMP is able to erase it, no problem. Download GIMP.
OK, so Paint.NET is a special software for image editing. It is not at the same level as Photoshop, but it is good enough to remove a simple watermark.
To remove a watermark, run Paint.NET, open the image with the watermark, click the Clone Stamp tool, change the Brush Size, then click CTRL, and click the image background to clone it.
Then hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse over the watermark to delete it. This is mainly for simple watermarks that are not too large. Download Paint.NET
Free watermark removal online tools
This special tool is not like the others because it is web-based, you know, an online tool. It’s pretty easy to use from what I hear. Simply download the image, use the Mask Tool to mark the words you want to delete, then click the read button above.
The watermark should disappear in a few moments. It’s simple, but not perfect, but at the same time it’s free and easily accessible without having to download anything to get started. Visit webInPaint.com.
If you are looking for an alternative to WebInpaint, we recommend LunaPic because it does similar but not as intuitive work. Each image change means that the entire page is reloaded.
This is a bit boring, and it also means that editing images takes more time than other options. If you don’t care, try LunaPic.
