We live in the era of streaming media. Wherever you look, it seems that every company is trying to take advantage of the new era in which we find ourselves. From the big companies that launched the media revolution, such as Netflix, Hulu and Amazon, to companies trying to follow their own future plans, such as AT&T, Apple and Disney, consumers in the United States and around the world have evolved into a continuous ecosystem similar to the cable monopolies of the late 1990s and 2000s, where each original program to watch absolutely is on a different channel and costs a different monthly amount on net income.

Navigating can be difficult, especially if you are just trying to ignore the noise of the media industry and simply want to see quality entertainment.

Here’s how to clear your Amazon Video viewing history

You can clear the history of your Amazon Prime watch so that others don’t know what you saw last. You can delete items or delete your current history.

  • Step 2 : Click “Start Scan” to find Windows registry issues that could be causing PC problems.
  • Step 3 : Click “Repair All” to fix all issues.

  1. Click on this link to go directly to the history of your Amazon video ads. (If you are in the United Kingdom, use this link.)
  2. Each entry is listed separately. Under the title, click on “Delete this from the viewed videos”.
  3. Or, if you prefer, you can scroll to the right and check the “Do not use for recommendations” box. This allows you to keep the film or show in your history, but excludes it from all recommendations.
  4. And that’s all. It’s quite simple. Almost as simple as when you started the My Little Pony season, isn’t it?

You can also rate videos by clicking on the stars to the right of a video. If you want to keep a video in your history but do not want it to affect your recommendations, you can also select the “Do not use for recommendations” option to allow this.

Unfortunately, Amazon does not allow you to delete the entire history with a single click. If you want to delete your history completely, you must delete the videos from this list one at a time.

Clear Amazon Prime Video Recommendations

Amazon not only has a history of video views, but also recommends similar videos based on your video view history. On the main page, you will see “Watch the rest”, which provides recommendations for television and movies based on your video history. You must therefore also delete it under Watch TV and the following movies. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Go to the “Next Television and Watch the Movies” section. And click on the blue “Edit” link at the top.
Step 2: A large “X” icon will appear in the middle of each video. To delete the video recommendations, click on the “X” in the video. You can delete all or part of the videos. After clicking, the show will disappear over time.
Step 3: When you are finished, click Done.
