Windows 10 comes with a hidden immersive search bar that looks like Apple’s MacOS Spotlight search box. Microsoft began creating the immersive search bar in the Windows Update Preview Builds April 10, 2018 (Redstone 4), but for some reason Microsoft did not confirm that it had tested a new search interface.
The floating search bar moves the results you normally find from Windows Search to a central location and is accessible using the traditional Windows+S shortcut.
In addition to the new improvements in Search and Cortana, the Windows 10 May 2019 update also includes improvements for the hidden immersive search bar. In Windows 10 Version 1903, the immersive search bar includes changes to the user interface, a list of key applications, recent activities and performance improvements.
Steps to activate immersive searching with rounded corners in Windows 10
You must modify the entries in the Windows 10 registry to access the mobile search bar. Once activated, the search bar moves from the left corner of the taskbar to a central location.
It is important to note that changing the Windows registry can cause serious problems, and you follow these instructions at your own risk.

Step 2: Here you must create a new 32-bit DWORD value called ImmersiveSearch. Even if you are using 64-bit Windows, you must still create a 32-bit DWORD value. Set it to 1.
Step 3: Go to the key
Current_USER_KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current version\Search\Flighting\Current version
Step 4: Create a new “Override” subkey to get the path.
USER_CURRENT_KEY_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current version\Search\Flight by plane\Override
Step 5: Create these two 32-bit DWORD values under Override.
ImmersiveSearchFull = 1.
CenterScreenRoundedCornerRadius = 9.
For the changes made by Registry Optimizer to take effect, you must log out and log into your user account. You can also restart the shell of the Explorer.
Then restart the File Explorer from the Task Manager and take advantage of the new Immersive Search feature. Note that you must run Windows 10 version 1903 for this feature to work on your device.
You can cancel the changes at any time using the same instructions, but in step 4, make sure you right-click the ImmersiveSearch button and select Delete. In addition, in step 9, right-click the Cancel button and select Delete.
