Chrome allows multiple people to use Chrome on the same computer, with each profile having its own custom bookmarks, settings, and themes. By default, Chrome opens with the profile that was used the last time the browser was opened.
However, there is a profile management window that you can open when you open Chrome to select the profile you want to use. If you use different personalities for personal, business, entertainment, or other situations, you can choose which profile to use each time you open Chrome. You can do this by creating a shortcut for each Chrome profile on your desktop. However, if you don’t like the many shortcuts on your desktop, you can create a shortcut that opens the profile management window each time you open Chrome so that you can select the profile you want to use each time.
Google Chrome is currently experimenting with a new selection of profiles that works almost like a login screen for Chrome. If you have multiple profiles in your Chrome browser, you will be prompted to select one when Chrome starts.
Most of us have professional and personal profiles in the same Chrome browser. We switch between profiles as needed. However, when we open Chrome in the morning, it will open with the last profile we used. This will change soon.

Select the one you wish to switch to and a new window will open for that user profile. If this is too cumbersome for you, you can also use the custom desktop shortcuts that Chrome provides when you create a profile to open the browser as a specific user.
