If you have problems with buffering when watching HULU TV, you should probably check the devices. The reason for the buffer problem is not always due to poor connectivity.
Due to the way Hulu manages streaming, many unique problems can sometimes occur when you use this service.
Hulu, an online video streaming service, gives you access to hundreds of the latest movies and shows on your computer or TV. Hulu is ideal for receiving visitors if you do not have cable TV in your company’s waiting room or office. The service is based on a fast high-speed Internet connection for smooth video streaming and requires a download speed of at least 3 Mbps for high definition video. If your video stutters or looks restless, improve the download speed by changing the network or device settings.
Follow the steps below to resolve the buffering problem.
Close the Hulu application completely.
Start by leaving Hulu (and any other application or program running in the background) completely, then try to reopen Hulu.
Test other applications or programs on your device.
If you encounter similar problems, it may be due to poor connectivity. Contact your Internet service provider for more information on how to improve your connection.
Check if Hulu is down.
Sometimes, the entire Hulu service in your area breaks down or is repaired. You can diagnose this problem by using a tool like DownDetector to see if others have technical problems.
You can also check the accounts of Hulu’s social media to see if they have issued any official statements.
If Hulu problems affect people outside your own home network, you may have to wait until the problems are solved before Hulu ends.
Make sure your browser or Hulu application is up to date.
If you experience performance problems or if your Hulu videos refuse to play, your browser may need to be updated.
Most browsers tell you when an update is available when you connect to the Internet.
If you are using a mobile device, you can check the App Store on your phone or tablet for an update.
Improve your Internet speed.
Your Internet plays a central role in the streaming of your favourite shows. It is therefore preferable to have high-speed Internet access and an update.
4K HD videos require 15 megabytes per second of Internet connection. If you have problems in one network, switch to another network that is the best on the market.
You can try to change the router or hub because this could be the reason for the buffer problem on Hulu. You can try to use an Ethernet connection.
If the above steps do not work and the problem persists, we recommend that you try another device. In our experience, if one device plays Hulu slowly, another device connected to the same router will play Hulu Plus content very well most of the time. Due to this particular behaviour, we believe that the device also communicates with an external server and that this server could be the one that causes the reading problems.
