Many Discord users are prevented from joining the voice channels by the misroute error. The non-delivery error falls into the same category as ICE Check and PSTN blocked connection errors. In any case, the Discord will stop in its tracks when an attempt is made to connect to a voice server.
There are several different errors that you will see if you cannot connect to a voice server:
- ICE Checking
- No Route
- Stuck RTC Connecting
Although they are different errors, they are usually related to the same type of technical problems; the disagreement is stopped in its tracks when trying to connect to a voice server.
Let us now work to correct these errors so you can chat with your friends!
How To Fix No Route Error On Discord
As complicated as the bug may seem, the solutions to fix it are quite simple and don’t take much time to execute. There are a number of workarounds that you can use if you want to fix the non-delivery error that occurs when you try to join a voice channel. Many users have been able to solve the problem themselves by simply following the instructions below. However, in some cases, you may need to try all of the solutions below to completely resolve the problem.
Some users also complain that they “don’t hear people in Discord.
Please note that we are not sure of the exact cause of this error. Therefore, some of the following corrections may not work for you. In this case, you can continue with the other corrections and see if it works.
Restart the modem/router and the computer
Firstly, we must ensure that the problem cannot be solved by a simple restart. The non-delivery error often occurs in cases where the IPV6 connection has been interrupted by a dynamic IP that is constantly changing.
You can check if this problem is temporary by restarting your router (or modem) and PC. There is no need to reset the network settings for your route – you can simply unplug the power cord and plug it back in.
The next time you boot up, check to see if you can connect to the mismatch voice servers without encountering the “No Route” error. If the error still occurs, continue with the following method below.
Disable Quality of Service High Packet Priority
Some users have indicated that they can easily correct the “Discord No Route” error after disabling the “Quality of Service High Packet Priority” function. So you may as well use this solution to see if it works for you.
If you don’t know how to disable the Quality of Service High Packet Priority, simply follow the steps below:
Step 1. Start the Discord client on your PC and click on the gear icon in the lower left corner
Step 2 Scroll down to “App Settings” and click on “Voice & Video”.
Step 3 Under Quality of Service, click the Enable high priority QoS packets checkbox to turn it off immediately.
Step 4 Restart the Discord client and see if the non-delivery error disappears. If this does not work for you, proceed to the next method.
Check your Firewall and AV Settings
The firewall allows Internet packets to travel through your system and back again. But if the configuration is badly done, your Discord packets cannot get through. This can also cause the “No Route” error in your request.
To begin, you should check your firewall settings to see if they allow the Discord to connect or not. You can also check your firewall settings:
- Close your Discord first.
- Open the control panel by searching for it in the search bar or by running it in the Run dialog box.
- Now select the Windows Defender Firewall from the list of specified items.
- Once the window is open, select “Allow an application or function through Windows Defender Firewall” in the left pane.
- Find and click the “Change Settings” option.
- Now find the disagreement in the list and make sure both boxes (public and private) are checked. Then select “Diskord” and delete it.
- Click the OK button.
- Rotate the discord again. This time you may be prompted to allow access to public and private networks through the Windows Defender Firewall, so ignore the prompt.
- Now try connecting the Discord voice channel.
These resolutions are among the most commonly confirmed fixes for the Discord “No Route” error. Users who have solved the same problem with different resolutions are invited to share them below.
