If you want to display a clean Windows 7 taskbar, you must hide the system tray and clock that appears on the right side of the Windows taskbar.
To hide the notification area or taskbar that appears on the right side of your Windows taskbar, type gpedit.msc in the search box and press Enter to open the group policy editor.
Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar.
Double-click the Hide Notification Area entry, select the’On’ button, click Apply > OK.
