Use Edge browser

Win 10 is the only Windows operating system that supports Hulu. Since Edge is the default browser for this platform, it will be updated using Windows.

Thus, users will most likely not need to update Edge to ensure browser compatibility with Hulu. So try logging into Hulu in the Edge browser.

Enable JavaScript and cookies in browsers

  • JavaScript is another system requirement for Hulu that users must enable in their browser. To enable JavaScript in Google Chrome, click “Configure and manage Google Chrome”.
  • Click Settings on the menu to open the Settings tab.
  • Click the “Advanced” button to expand the settings.
  • Click Site Settings to view additional settings.
  • Then select JavaScript to open the following options.
  • Activate the Allowed option.
  • Also click Cookies in the site settings to open the settings.
  • Then activate the option Allow websites to save and read cookie data.

Update your web browser

As mentioned above, a browser update is required because some versions of Hulu are not supported. The best way to update your browser is to remove it and install the latest version.

  • Click on the “Setup and Control” button.
  • In the upper right corner of the Chrome window you will see the “Customize” menu icon – it looks like three small black dots above each other – click on it.
  • This will bring up a menu with many options. One of them is called “Settings”.
  • Hover the mouse pointer over the Help menu item.
  • If you hover your mouse pointer over the “Help” menu item, another menu will appear on the side, which includes the “About Google Chrome” option.
  • Click “About Google Chrome”.
  • You will be taken to the “About Chrome” page.
  • Chrome will automatically check for updates

As soon as you open the “About Chrome” screen, it will automatically check for updates for your copy of Chrome. If any updates are available, they will be downloaded. You don’t need to do anything to start this process.

Install Hulu to Windows 10

Another solution for the unsupported Hulu browser is to add this application to Windows 10. Unlike browsers, there is no compatibility problem with streaming service. You can go to the Microsoft Store page and click “Get” to add the Hulu application in Windows 10.
