How to Repair Intel Optane Memory Pinning Error

Many Windows 10 users complain about the Intel Optane Memory Pinning Error after the last update of Windows 1903. Fix the Intel Optane Explorer Extension

  1. Execute programs and functions
  2. The easiest way is to open the execution dialog (win + R), type’Appwiz.cpl’ in the open text field and then click on the OK button.
  3. In the list of programs, look for the one called’Intel Optane Pinning Explorer Extensions’.
  4. Once you have found it, right click on it and select “Fix” from the context menu.
  5. Restart your computer as soon as the repair process is complete.

Uninstalling Intel Optane Pinning Explorer extensions

If the error persists, follow these steps to uninstall the software. This will not have a significant impact on the performance of your system. But you’ll get rid of the annoying Intel Optane Memory Pinning message.

  1. Click Start, type Apps and Features in the search bar and select Apps and Features.
  2. If you find “Intel Optane Pinning Explorer Extensions”, click on it.
