Checking the status of Origin servers
It is possible that the problem is beyond your control, so it is important to follow this method and check the status of the Origin servers before trying to solve the problem with another solution. The error “Origin Encountered an Issue Loading this Page” may be beyond your control if the servers are down or in maintenance.
So before proceeding to the other possible corrections below, check the status of the Origin services. It is also good practice to check the EA Twitter account or Reddit hub for maintenance or downtime.
If your search did not reveal any problems, it is likely that the problem is limited to your computer. In this case, proceed to the next method below.
Deleting Origin cache files
Most users were able to solve this problem by deleting the files from the original cache in the appdata folder.
To access the cache files, type %appdata% in the Windows search bar, locate the Origin folder and delete everything in it. This will reset your original settings, etc. but should solve the problem.

- Disconnection and closing of the origin Origin completely
- Press and hold the Windows and R key .
- Type “%ProgramData%” (without quotes) and click OK.
- Now open the Origin folder.
- Delete all files and folders in the Original folder except LocalContent (do not delete them).
- Press and hold the Windows and R key .
- Type %AppData% (without quotes), then click OK.
- This will lead you to a roaming folder in AppData. Deleting the source folder
- Click on the word “AppData” at the top of your window.
- Open the local folder here.
- Delete the source folder listed here.
- Restart your PC and reconnect to Origin.
Reinstall Origin to solve the loading problem.
- Open the Control Panel on your PC.
- Go to Programs, then click on the Uninstall Program link.
- Locate Origin in the list of programs installed on your PC, right-click and select Uninstall.
- Go to origin.com/download and download/install Origin for Windows.
That’s all. After reinstalling Origin, start it and you should not see the error during loading.
