Google Keep is Google’s version of a note-taking application – but it’s more than just checklists or quick thoughts written in a moment of inspiration.

Because it was created by Google, it automatically syncs with Google Drive so you can access it from any device you use your Google Account on, whether it’s a computer, mobile phone, or tablet. That way, you won’t have to search through your different accounts or devices to find the right score.

One of the biggest benefits of Keep is its seamless integration with the entire Google ecosystem. For example, if you rely heavily on Gmail, Google Drive or Google Docs, you can easily share the elements of Keep across platforms, either within the Keep application or through a Google application that supports Keep.

So, how can you retrieve data from Google Keep?

Sync Your App to Restore Your Notes

Everything you add to your guard is synchronized with Google’s servers. So if something happens to the device you’re using, you can log in to a spare device and find all your data there, or you can even just use a browser and go to keep.google.com from any device.

Google synchronizes your data in real time and stores it in the cloud for you. To restore your data, simply download the application back to your phone and log in with the same email ID you saved the data in before. You can also access the data at keep.google.com by logging in with your email ID.

Find and Restore Deleted Notes

First, make sure your Google Keep application is up to date. Use one of the links below to update, depending on whether you’re using Android or iPhone

Now open the Google Keep application. Press the “Hamburger” button in the upper right corner. The drawer menu opens. Scroll down and press the “Trash” button. Here you will find all your deleted notes from the last seven days. After seven days your notes will be permanently deleted.

On the Recycle Bin screen, tap the note you want to restore. Tap the dots in the bottom left corner. When you do this, a pop-up window appears with two options: “Restore” and “Delete forever”. Of course, you must press the “Restore” button. When you return to the main screen, you will find your note not deleted. You don’t have to worry about deleting your Google Keep notes anymore.

Send Feedback to the Google Keep Team

The best thing to do is to send your comments on this topic directly to the Google Keep team. To do so, click on the gear icon in the web application (keep.google.com) or in the Android application, select “Feedback” from the drop-down menu and submit your ideas.

Although the product team is not able to respond directly to individual users, they regularly review this feedback and use it to improve the product over time.
