Thumbnail and Icon Cache Rebuilder for Windows 10 is a portable freeware that cleans, deletes and removes your thumbnail and icon cache rebuilder with a single click.
If your icons appear empty or appear damaged or are not updated correctly if they should, it is quite possible that your icon cache database on your Windows 10 PC has been corrupted. The same is true for thumbnails. If they are not displayed correctly, they may be damaged. After downloading the ZIP file, decompress the content and run the.exe file. You can first create a system restore point.
If you have problems with thumbnails or icons that do not display correctly, open Thumbnail and Icon Cache Rebuilder, select the Delete Icon Cache or Delete Thumbnail Cache check box, or both, as required.
ext click on rebuild, wait until the explorer updates.
restart computer. A new cache is created after the computer restarts.
Please note that closing the Cache Rebuilder Icon before the end may cause Windows to display an error for your user profile, as it must update the Explorer and restart your computer to recreate the icon cache.
