If you have a Microsoft(C) Register Server stopped working error dialog box when you are working on your Windows computer, then this message may help you. Microsoft Register Server is the command to register DLLs (Dynamic Link Libraries) in Windows. This error may occur if you try to save a DLL file with the Regsvr32 command, or if the operating system does not save a DLL file.

This assumes that you are using a version of Windows 32-bit. If you are prompted with a warning that the action could make your computer unprotected and vulnerable to attacks, ignore it and click OK to continue.

Finally, try restarting the regsvr32 command from the command line, and things should work for you. You will also not see the message.
For machines with version Windows 64-bit, the folder path is C:WindowsSysWOW64.
