Several Windows users asked us questions after they could not play back some video formats (especially .MKV formats) or wanted to rename or edit other details of an.MP3 or.MP4 file. The error code that appears is 0xC00D36CB. While some users report that the problem only occurs with a handful of files, others say they cannot suddenly read MKV files. Some Xbox users have the backwards compatibility error 0x8082000c when trying to play an Xbox360 backwards compatible game on Xbox One. The error message attached to the error code is “This game is not playable here”. The error code 0xC8000247 is often displayed when Windows tries to find and install updates using the Automatic Update Service, or when the user tries to manually install a particular Windows update using the Windows Update Standalone Installer program on a computer running Windows 7 or Vista. Another symptom of the 0xC8000247 problem is that Microsoft Security Essentials (or Windows Defender) cannot update or download the virus database (definitions).
