Fonts finally have a special place in Windows 10 settings. I’ve been using Windows for years, and fonts are one of my favorite features for playing with themes. We all love having our own favorite font anywhere on Windows, and with Windows 10 v1803 Microsoft has made it easier.

Windows Font Settings 10

Open Settings > Custom > Fonts. This is the new font focus, allowing you to see all fonts as they are, and you can even manipulate them. When you get here, you’ll see:

• A list of fonts available on your PC with information on the number of font areas for each one.
• Name font search bar.
• Sort by language possible.

The current version of Windows 10 v1803 now offers a built-in tool that helps you delete additional files that can be deleted from your computer to make room. That’s what they call it, Free Up Space. The tool uses the Storage Sense feature in Windows 10, which can automate the cleaning of unwanted system files every 60, 30, 15 or every day. You can configure it to run automatically or at predefined intervals.

Microsoft extends the functionality of the Windows Preferences window, which opens by clicking the ‘Win+I’ button. If you are using Windows 10 v1803, you may not need to open Task Manager to close an application that is not responding because you can close preinstalled system applications yourself using Windows 10 settings.

The task manager is probably the best way to close a non-reactive process or other application that you want to close. Microsoft has now added a new option in the Windows settings that allows you to close any preinstalled application in a few moments. If you want to try something new, do it. read more

Group policy tools use administrative template files to fill policy settings in the user interface. These are primarily registry-based policy settings that appear in the Local Group Policy Editor under Administration Templates in the Computer and User Configuration nodes. Windows 10 v1803 April 2018 The update brought many new and improved features. However, many users have reported that it creates additional OEM or recovery partitions . It is essentially a WinRE partition. They cannot be deleted immediately because they are assigned a logical drive letter.

This excess partition is visible in both File Explorer and Disk Management and occupies (at least virtually) disk space. In some cases, the system starts with the message that the disk is full. Also, when you check the disk usage in Task Manager, you can see that it is approaching 100%, which slows down the system. read more
