The rapid increase in malware is something we simply cannot ignore. The ransom software industry is growing and, with other types of malware, cyber attacks are taking place. It is not only aimed at large companies, but also at individual users. Although there is no shortage of malware removal tools, we have chosen RegRun Reanimator, a tool that promises to remove malware remotely.
RegRun Reanimator review
RegRun Reanimator is completely free and has a very complete diagnostic system. The program creates a log that is then sent to the Greatis support team for analysis and receives a Regrun file that performs the malware removal.
Fortunately RegRun Reanimator supports almost all versions of Windows and the best thing is that this program works in conjunction with your existing antivirus or anti-malware program. As most of us prefer to remove malware alongside antivirus, RegRun Reanimator seems to be one of the best options.
The installation process involves no complicated steps and the user does not need to reboot the system. Once the installation was completed, the program was started automatically and it was also checked if updates were available.
UI and features
The user interface is simple and clear, the best part is that all the information is visible in one window, eliminating the need to dive into advanced options.
RegRun Reanimator is designed to detect malware, including rootkits, Trojans and all other types of malware, and send the report for manual review and analysis. The program also applies some preventive measures such as disabling autorun on all disks, including USB.
All you have to do is run the tool and download the log file. The log file is analyzed by the developers. Finally, you must run the RNR file, which not only removes malware, but also restores functionality and protection using Partizan, another tool from Greatis Software. Well, that’s the thing Greatis is talking about, the Greatis team scans each report manually before sending you the RNR file, and they claim to remotely remove the malware. The good news is that the support team does not need to connect to your PC and only needs the troubleshooting report.
One of the problems I had with the resuscitator was that the update prompts were sporadic and I would like there to be a function to adjust the update timing or only activate manual updates.
Like some similar malware removal tools, RegRun Reanimator raises false positives and can be very confusing for beginners. However, the program comes with a program that I am not sure about. I need a help option that sends the suspect file to VirusTotal for analysis and results. If you need removal for persistent malware, RegRun is an excellent choice. Download here.
