This application cannot be opened: Reinstall or re-register Windows Store applications in Windows 10/8

So far, we have seen many usage problems Metro or Modern or Universal or Windows Store Apps in Windows 10boot screen. In other scenarios, you may not be able to open this application. In other cases, users are not able to update existing applications to resolve problems with the current version. If system applications cannot start due to problems with the user account, the problem can be solved by creating a new administrator account, because Windows automatically sets applications to factory settings for new accounts. Registration of new applications is offline and you do not need to stay connected to the Internet. This can be done by executing a simple command in Windows PowerShell. If you have problems with multiple applications on your system, try re-registering the applications and solving the problems.

Re-register or install Windows Store applications

1 First create one system restore point . Then press Windows + Q, type and select Windows PowerShell in the results, right click on it and select Run as administrator.

2 In the Windows PowerShell administration window , type the following command, then press on the Enter key:

 Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register'$($_.InstallLocation)AppXManifest.xml'}

After successfully executing the command, you can close Windows PowerShell and restart the computer. After rebooting the system, problems with applications on your Windows should be fixed.

After the November update , using this method to resolve this problem with the Appx PowerShell cmdlet caused problems with your Windows Store applications. But if you installed Windows 10 Anniversary Update, it now works – I tried it personally – Admin. July 1, 2016
