HitmanPro.kickstart helps you save a detached PC. You can boot your computer from a USB stick to remove malware that bought or blocked your computer and denied you access. The application is considered user-friendly and you do not need to know other environmental platforms such as Linux or Windows PE to use HitmanPro.Kickstart.
For those not familiar with Ransomware, here is a short explanation:
Ransomware is a kind of malware that criminals install on your computer without your permission. Ransomware gives criminals the ability to remotely lock your computer. A pop-up window will appear with a warning that your computer is locked and you will not be able to access it if you do not pay.
After a ransom software attack, your desktop is generally unavailable and you cannot start another program. Therefore, we need a program that starts from a hard disk, for example a rescue diskette or a multiple boot environment, to remove these malware. The CryptoLocker ransom software, recently in the news, is an example.

According to HitmanPro.Kickstart developers, the normal rescue CD is far too complicated for an average user to use or remove the malware, and that’s why they developed HitmanPro.Kickstart. This program starts from a USB port and takes you to a familiar Windows screen that will help you remove malware. All you have to do is boot your system with the HitmanPro.kickstart USB stick and you’re ready to go.
To create HitmanPro.kickstart USB key
- Download HitmanPro from here
- Install and run HitmanPro
- Click the’Flying Kicker’ icon next to the Settings button.
- Insert the USB stick and follow the on-screen instructions.

Now you just need to make sure that boot from an external device is enabled in the BIOS. Then connect your USB and restart your computer. For other steps, just watch this video
Remember that HitmanPro.Kick is not free. It offers a free 30-day trial version. If you have already tried HitmanPro on the same computer, you will be required to purchase the license before the malware is removed.
