We cannot find your camera. Make sure it is properly connected and installed, that it is not blocked by antivirus software, and that your camera drivers are up to date. If you need it, here is the error code: 0xA00F4244 (0xC00DABE0).
The error code can be 0xA00F4244 or 0x200F4244.
This error occurs if you do not have a webcam and try opening the Windows 10 Camera App application. However, if you have a camera installed on your computer, you may need to follow this tutorial to solve it.
We can’t find your camera
There is no one-click solution to this problem, and you need to see which of these solutions works for you.
1] Make sure your webcam is installed correctly
This is probably the first thing you should check. Make sure your webcam’s USB port is working properly. Try changing your computer’s USB port and see if it helps.
2] Update the webcam driver
When you first configure your webcam, you must install a driver to run it correctly. You should find the appropriate driver for your webcam. If you have already installed your webcam driver, but are still experiencing this problem, it may be time to update your driver. You can either use free driver update software or manually update the device driver as follows:
Windows 10 users must press Win+X and click the Device Manager entry in the list. Find the next camera. It should be an imaging device. Right-click this driver and click the Update driver option . Then select the Automatic check for updated driver software option. After that, the process should soon be completed.
3] Uninstall and reinstall the webcam driver
If you experience problems during the driver update, you may need to uninstall the webcam driver. Open Device Manager > right click on device > select Properties > go to tab Driver > click button Uninstall device .
Restart your computer and reopen Device Manager and click Action > Check Hardware Changes.
4] Rollback webcam driver
If your webcam stops working after installing a new update, you must uninstall the update and reset it to the old version. You must Device Manager > right click on the device > select Properties > go to tab Driver > click the Roll Back Driver button > select Yes in the next window. You will then need to reboot your PC to check whether it is working or not.
5] Detect obsolete webcam drivers
If your webcam was developed before Windows 7, it may not work with Windows 10, follow these steps-
Open Device Manager > select the device and Properties from the context menu > go to the Driver tab > select Driver Details . You will find driver files on your screen. Now check whether you have a stream.sys file or not. If you see such a file in the list, your webcam may not work with Windows 10, in which case you will need to purchase a new one.
6] Check your antivirus software
Sometimes the antivirus software can prevent your webcam from working with your PC. In this case, you may need to disable your antivirus program to check whether the antivirus program is causing the problem or not.
I hope something will help you solve the problem.
