1] Uninstall Skype

Open Control Panel > Programs & Features and uninstall Skype. Restart your computer

Run Troubleshooting to install and uninstall the program. It is a convenient tool for Windows 10/8/7 and solves several key registry issues that prevent users from installing or uninstalling software. During execution, expand the Advanced option and make sure that application repairs are automatically enabled.

You will be asked if you have any problems during installation or uninstallation. Make your selection and continue. You may also be asked to select a program that presents problems.
