Activate half of the services

a) Follow steps 1a and 1b to start the system configuration utility.
b) Click on the Services tab, then select the Hide all Microsoft services check box.
c) Click here to select half of the checkboxes in the list of services.
d) Click OK, then click Restart.

If the problem persists, repeat steps 1 and 2 and, in step 2, click on it to uncheck half of the boxes you have selected in the list of services.

If the problem does not occur, repeat steps 1 and 2 and, in step 2, check only half of the remaining boxes that are unchecked in the list of services. Repeat these steps until you have checked all the boxes.
