1] Install/Repair Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2013

The absence or corruption of a Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package can cause this problem. So you should install it if you don’t have it yet. If you already have it in your system, follow these steps to repair it.

Open the Control Panel and go to Programs and Features. Now you should find the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable package in the list. Right-click and click the Edit button . After that, you should find option Repair . Click on it to repair the installation.

2] Change file permissions

Sometimes incorrect file permissions can cause this problem. Therefore, you must have total control over the file. Right-click the icon that opens the Adobe application and select Properties. Go to the Security tab and click the Edit button . In the next pop-up window, select the current user account and make sure option Full Control is enabled. Do this and save your change.
