Tips and tricks for using Windows 10 Mail App
The modern mail application is preinstalled with Windows 10 PC and is a greatly improved version of Windows 8.1. You must already have read our Windows 10 Mail App Test. Now let’s see how to use it.
Create a new account in Windows 10 Mail App
When you are connected to your PC with your Microsoft account, it is automatically linked to the email application and the built-in calendar application. If you are logged in with your local account, you must first configure the email account in the email application.
Click the Windows icon on the PC and click the Mail App Live tile. Follow the instructions to link your email account to the application.
Add an account to the Windows email application 10
The email application is not just about the Outlook account you can add any of your email accounts and make it as convenient as possible. Simply click on the preferences icon in the lower left corner and select Add Account, follow the steps and you can create any of your email accounts for the application.

Calendar in the mail application
The new mail application has an integrated calendar that plays an important role in the productivity of the application. Enter Mail in the search bar and open the mail application and click the calendar icon in the lower left corner of the application.
The calendar has a very detailed interface with birthdays of all your email contacts, vacation lists, event lists and more. You can adjust the calendar view in days, weeks or months. You can also use the calendar to create a new event and keep a reminder.
Customize background image in Windows 10 Mail App
You can customize background image with a few clicks. Go to Settings and click Background Image. Browse and select any image stored on your PC.
Backing up email with the email application
You can save or save email messages as follows. Open the email and click the 3-point menu in the upper right corner and click the Save As link (16).
Add a signature in Windows 10 Mail App
You can now send personalized emails from the mail application under Windows 10. Adding a signature is the only way to customize emails, and the email application here has an option for the same. Go to Settings and click Options. Scroll down to the Signature tab. Activate it and add the signature initials you want to see at the end of each email sent.
Set automatic responses in the Windows 10 email application
Directly below the Signature tab in the options you see in the Automatic Responses tab, where you can enable the On or Off option. You can also add a message you want to send with each automatic reply. Check the box below if you want to send these auto-reply messages only to your contacts.
The new Windows Mail Desktop application is a simple and clean application that helps you connect more email accounts than Outlook alone. If you like the application, don’t forget to leave your comments to Microsoft.
Click the smiley next to the Settings icon and a Windows Feedback tab will open where you can leave your comments for each of the Windows 10 applications.
Select the email application in the left pane and you will see a window showing the trend of user left feedbacks, latest feedbacks and acute feedbacks. Click Add new feedback and leave your comments for the Mail Desktop application.
