The Movies & TV application of Windows 10 is a universal application. This means that you can download and use the application on Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, regardless of the device you are using. If you’ve just run Windows 10 Store, you’ll find the Movies & TV section, which lists a variety of movies and TV shows for your ad. The viewing experience is varied when the image is of good HD quality. A simple setting in the Movies & TV application allows you to upload your videos in HD.
Make Movies & TV App always download HD videos
Many of us will agree that it is much easier to watch a video than to play a screen with text. This experience can be very enjoyable if you have the HD viewing option at hand. So here’s how to set up HD video mode in Movies & TV App from Windows 10, and have it download HD videos automatically.
First search for the movies and TV application, then click on the application.
Then select the Settings icon at the bottom left to open the section.
There, in the settings window, three circles are visible for you to check, under Download quality – HD, SD and Ask Every Time.
By default, this option is set to Ask each time, so you must select SD or HD from the drop-down menu each time you purchase a movie.
Because we are interested in downloading content in HD, check the cell for HD.
If you now decide to watch a movie you have purchased, it will be displayed in HD mode.
