USB Image Tool clones or creates images of USB sticks and MP3 players that are mounted as USB drives. It allows you to switch between images with different music styles on your MP3 player or create an exact backup image from your USB stick. With this tool, you can save the entire USB stick as an image that you can then save to your hard disk or burn to a disc.
The tool has two modes: Device mode and Volume mode. Device mode copies the entire USB device, including the boot sector. Volume mode processes and copies the first volume to a USB stick. Windows currently limits the number of removable USB sticks to a single volume.
To create a backup, click Backup. The backup images are saved in.img format. To restore backups, click Restore.
