This service starts automatically when the operating system of Windows 10 Home 1607, Windows 10 Pro 1607, Windows 10 Education 1607, Windows 10 Enterprise 1607, Windows 10 Home 1703, Windows 10 Pro 1703, Windows 10 Education 1703, Windows 10 Enterprise 1703, Windows 10 Home 1709, Windows 10 Pro 1709, Windows 10 Education 1709, Windows 10 Enterprise 1709, 1803 Home, 1803 Pro, 1803 Education, 1803 Enterprise, 1809 Home, 1809 Home, 1809 Education, 1809 Enterprise When the Connected Devices Platform Service is started, it works as NT AUTHORITYLocalService in a shared svchost process.exe with other services. If the platform service for the connected devices does not start, the details of the error are recorded in the event log. Windows 10 then starts and informs the user that the CDPSvc service could not be started due to the error.
This protocol provides a detection system to authenticate and verify users and devices, and to exchange messages between devices. It provides a means of transport diagnosis to establish connections between all of a user’s devices, whether available in the cloud or in direct physical presence.

Step 4: Once you have reached the CDPUserSvc key, go to the right zone and search for the word DWORD to start. Double-click on the STARTWORD.
Step 5: In its edit box, change the value data from 2 to 4 and click OK to make the changes effective.
Step 6: Finally, restart your computer and when it restarts, you will notice that the number is different. CDPUserSvc_35375 appears, confirming that the module is already disabled.
