Store the chat in your WhatsApp app

I have never done this in my smartphone app before. You can archive all your chats in your desktop application. Simply open the chat windows and click Chat in the upper left corner. Choose Archive and that’s it, all your cat will be archived. You can view the archived chats under Menu.
Star messages
Although the desktop application displays the marked messages, there is no way to start a message here. In your smartphone application, select the message you want to start and click the Star icon on the ribbon. There is no such icon in the desktop version. See the smartphone screenshot below. To view the marked messages on your desktop application, click Menu (three items) and select Starred.
Group chat settings in WhatsApp Desktop App
You can create a new group from the menu. To customize the group settings in your desktop application, go to the group and right-click. You can check group information, select messages, mute the group, delete messages or leave the group. You can also change the group icon or group status from the desktop application.
What is missing here is the possibility to see the group’s media in one place. Here, you need to scroll up the entire chat window to see the group’s multimedia elements, such as images and videos shared in the group, while the smartphone application has a feature that allows us to see the group’s media in one place.
Disconnecting the WhatsApp Desktop application
You can disconnect from the WhatsApp main tab or from the menu. To reconnect, you must rescan your WhatsApp code from the WhatsApp Web on your phone.
