Share your location via WhatsApp and your friend can follow you in real time. To share your location with a WhatsApp friend, click the attachment icon in the top right corner of your chat window and select Location. Don’t forget to activate your GPS.

Open web.whatsapp.com on your PC while opening WhatsApp on your phone, click Menu and select WhatsApp Web. Your PC displays a CODE that must be scanned with your phone. Scan the code and you are connected. You can now use WhatsApp on your PC. Make sure your phone has an Internet connection.

Group Notification Settings

You can mute a group, set custom settings, easily change the group icon or group status. Go to one of your WhatsApp groups, click Menu and select Group Info. Here you can change the group icon and name, mute the group sound and adjust group notifications.

Downloading media

Images and videos received on WhatsApp can absorb your mobile data and fill your phone space, causing it to hang. Chat backup

This is one of the best features of WhatsApp that allows you to make a full backup of chats in your Google disk.

Know when your message was read

Know that you can see when your message was delivered and read. Hold down the message and click the information icon in the top bar. It tells you when your message was delivered and read.

Change your number

Not everyone knows, but yes, we can change our number at WhatsApp without losing data or cats. Simply go to Settings -> Account -> Change number and enter your old and new phone number. WhatsApp checks your number by call or SMS and you are done.

Pop-up message

We receive a pop-up notification when we receive a WhatsApp message, but you can turn it off. Simply go to Settings -> Notifications -> Popup Notification and adjust the settings accordingly.

To hide the preview of messages with notifications, go to Settings -> Notifications and disable Preview.

Run multiple WhatsApp accounts on your dual sim

Go to Settings ->User and Add new user. Follow the instructions and configure a new user. When you are finished, install WhatsApp on your new account.

Restore deleted files What WhatsApp messages

Have you ever accidentally deleted your WhatsApp messages? Don’t worry, you can recover your deleted WhatsApp messages. Not everyone knows, but WhatsApp backs up all your messages every day at 2am and if you want to restore your old messages, you must first uninstall WhatsApp from your device.

Uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp. When you log into your WhatsApp account, you will be prompted to send backup messages.

Press’Restore’ and WhatsApp will restore all your old messages, even those you accidentally deleted.

Delete WhatsApp account

If you want to permanently delete your WhatsApp account, go to Settings -> Account -> Delete my account. Follow the instructions and your account will be deleted. Deleting the account deletes all chat and backup history.

Send any file type

WhatsApp now allows you to share all file types. Before, you could only share PDF files, but now you can share Android APK, MP3, and other files. You can send uncompressed media up to 100 MB.

Bold, italic, strikethrough text

To hide your text, you can proceed as follows :

      • Bold: Insert an asterisk (*) before and after the text e.g. *TWC*
      • Italic: Insert an underscore (_) before and after the text, z. B. _TWC_
      • Strikethrough: Add a tilde (~) before and after the text, for example ~TWC~
