The Windows Disk Cleanup Utility helps you keep your PC free of unnecessary and unused files by freeing up disk space several times. In Windows 8, to open this utility, you can go to the boot screen and enter Disk Cleanup to open it! You can even see Bing search results on the web, but not what you want. Disk cleaning is hidden by default in the Search Charm and in the All Applications section of Windows 8.1. If you want to activate or display the option, you can carry out these steps.

Switch to the Windows 8.1 start screen, move the mouse pointer to the lower right corner of your computer screen to open Charms and select the’Settings’ option. Then select’Tile’ in the displayed section.

Then simply move the management tools to Yes.

Function is enabled. Enter Disk Cleanup on the start screen and you will see the option in the results after a few seconds delay.

If you do this, all your management tools are also’searchable’ from the start screen search tags bar. This was not the case with Windows 8!

Now see how to disable management in Windows 8 using the group policy, registry, or user interface.
