However, if you think your Windows Update client is already corrupted, use a running Windows installation as the repair source or a Windows folder side by side from a network share or the Windows DVD as the file source. To do so, execute the following command instead:

Here Replace C:RepairSourceWindows with the location of your repair source.
2] KB2939087 recommends that if you cannot install the Windows 8.1 KB2919355 update package via Windows Update, you should download and install the package manually.

7] Earlier, after installing this update on a computer, the computer could scan against Windows Server Update Services 3. 0 Stop Service Pack 2 (WSUS 3.0 SP2 or WSUS 3.2) that have been configured to use HTTPS and do not have TLS 1.2. Microsoft has asked everyone to install this update by May 13. It is important to install this update because you will only receive future Windows updates if it is installed.
