In computer typography, a space is any character representing a horizontal or vertical space. When these spaces are rendered, it usually takes up space on a page, but its result is a’space’. There are different spaces representing different widths of space. Only the ASCII characters Space (0x20) and ASCII Period (0x24) are specially managed by the object manager.
